Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Regional Safety Manager for Data Centers in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will lead safety programs on mission-critical projects, partnering with Superintendents and trade partners to uphold a world-class safety culture.

Responsibilities include developing and enforcing safety policies, conducting site evaluations, and guiding risk management across multiple data-center sites with attention to OSHA and NFPA standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction health and safety leadership.
• Experience on data center and MEP projects.
• Familiar with OSHA/OSHA-30 and safety regulations.
• Bachelor's in Construction or Safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and enforce safety programs and improvements.
• Foster the Safer Together culture.
• Mentor Safety Managers and coordinate with VP, EHS.
• Coordinate Pre-Construction Safety Planning with trade partners.
• Ensure TP safety programs and JHA prior to mobilization.
• Conduct site evaluations and track corrective actions.
• Review toolbox talks for documentation quality.
• Lead incident investigations with Risk Managers.
• Coordinate with Regional Risk Manager on claims trends.
• Ensure training in OSHA 10/30 and HAZWOPER.
