Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Chief Engineer to lead the Data Center Engineering Operations team, ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient operation of MEP infrastructure across the region.

You will drive preventative maintenance, coordinate with on-site technicians, and manage medium-to-large projects. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, cost optimization, and implementation of standard practices to elevate reliability and performance while reducing downtime

Qualifications

5+ years of facilities management experience.
Experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
5+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a data center.
Operate independently with limited direct management.
Act as an escalation point for all facilities‑related issues within the region.
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Create and deploy new standard practices for EOTs, CEs, and vendor support teams.
