Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Manager of Construction to lead a growing team of Construction Managers and Project Engineers for data center projects in the Eastern United States.

You will hire, coach, and grow top talent while delivering cost-efficient, safe, and high-quality facilities. You will shape the construction program, coordinate with finance on budgets, and partner with multiple teams to scope, schedule, and complete projects across data center sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management in construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and lead a large Construction Management team.
• Strategically manage construction capacity delivery in the region.
• Coordinate with Finance on capital budgets and with development teams on projects.
• Develop metrics to quantify regional performance and safety/quality targets.
• Oversee land/facility coordination and vendor relations.
