Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for new data centers. You will coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams to build cost-efficient, energy‑savvy facilities that meet AWS standards.

You will drive cost, schedule, and quality while managing vendors and contractors, ensuring safety and quality from design review through hand-off to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.

Responsibilities

• The Data Center Construction Manager will be responsible for construction project management and oversight of construction-related activities as they relate to new builds or general capital projects.
• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and punch list phases.
• Manage construction documents including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
