Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Principal or Senior Principal-Level Engineer to lead the Dams and Hydraulic Structures practice in the Southeast US. Based in or near Atlanta, GA, KS, or in GA/AL/MS/LA/TX region offices, you will guide technical strategy, client relationships, and project execution across embankment and concrete dams, spillways, and related facilities.

You will mentor staff, drive business development, and lead proposals and design efforts, with responsibilities spanning project

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the U.S. (required) and Georgia (required or ability to obtain via comity within 6 months).
• 10+ years of progressive consulting experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead regional business development within the Dams and Hydraulic Structures practice.
• Oversee preparation of technical proposals and marketing materials.
• Provide technical leadership across dam engineering disciplines (safety, hydrology, geotechnical, structural).
• Mentor staff and assist with recruiting to grow dam engineering capabilities.
• Coordinate with regional and national teams to execute projects and develop practice.
