Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a senior leader to guide the Dams & Hydraulic Structures practice in the Southeast US. The role focuses on technical leadership, client development, and project execution across embankment and concrete dams, spillways, and related hydraulic facilities.

Candidates will bring 10+ years in dam engineering, PE licensure, and a track record of managing cross-disciplinary teams on complex heavy-civil projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S. (required) and Georgia (or ability to obtain by comity) (required).
• Advanced degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Geology/Structural or Hydraulics (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead Dams & Hydraulic Structures practice in the Southeast US; mentor staff and support growth.
• Develop regional business strategies and client relationships; lead proposals and marketing efforts.
• Oversee dam safety, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, seepage and stability studies, and design for rehabilitation projects.
