Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks a System Support Sous Chef to lead culinary operations across New York and Connecticut. You will travel between accounts, partner with Executive Chefs, and drive Made for More initiatives to elevate food quality and patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong restaurant leadership, experience in high-volume healthcare settings, and a passion for developing teams. Comprehensive benefits are offered, and travel is required.

Qualifications

• Progressive culinary leadership experience in restaurant or chef-driven settings.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop culinary teams.
• Strong operational aptitude with problem-solving across multiple locations.
• Experience in high-volume foodservice, hospitality, catering or healthcare dining.
• Passion for culinary excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting multiple locations or regional operations.
• Solid knowledge of food production techniques, safety, sanitation, and cost controls.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and business applications.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to travel extensively in NY & CT.

Responsabilités

• Travel between healthcare accounts to provide culinary leadership and support.
• Partner with Executive Chefs to elevate culinary execution and quality.
• Coach and develop culinary teams; foster continuous improvement.
• Support staffing, operations, and high-volume service across locations.
• Assist with menu development, recipes, catering, events, and innovation.
• Champion Made for More and other culinary initiatives.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and compliance standards.
• Monitor food cost and inventory; drive operational effectiveness.
• Build relationships with site leadership to boost patient and client satisfaction.
