Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager for the Chicago area.

You will lead the safety program across the Great Lakes region, mentor staff, and drive safe practices at multiple sites with regular site visits and collaboration with operations leadership. The role requires 5+ years in safety management for commercial construction, OSHA/NFPA 70E/Loto knowledge, and a willingness to travel up to 20% on weekdays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years implementing/managing safety programs for commercial construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E and LOTO in construction.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication; leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety objectives aligned with company strategy.
• Mentor safety staff and lead training sessions.
• Ensure OSHA and Cal/OSHA records for the region are maintained.
• Conduct regional safety meetings and site audits.
• Oversee safety documentation, permits and signage.
• Lead preconstruction safety planning and risk reviews.
• Engage with OSHA offices and safety trade organizations.
• Drive continuous improvement of safety programs across the region.
