Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety programs for commercial construction across the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids markets. You will oversee site safety, mentor teams, and drive best-in-class safety performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of safety management experience, OSHA/NFPA 70E knowledge, a four-year degree, and the ability to travel up to 20% for regional projects. Procore and HammerTech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in the implementation and management of safety program specific to commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E and LOTO requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the region and support the division in implementing safety objectives aligned with company strategy.
• Clearly communicate the company safety vision through common goals, trust, accountability, and collaboration.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the safety status of all regional projects.
• Frequently visit project sites to verify implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Actively mentor jobsite teams on hazard recognition and mitigation.
• Lead regional project site walks to identify and correct hazards.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions.
