Garney Construction in McKinney, TX seeks a Regional Operations Manager to oversee construction operations and drive regional performance. You will lead Area Managers, align field activities with safety, quality and financial goals, and coordinate with preconstruction and estimating teams on market strategy and project pursuit.

The role requires 10–15 years in construction with at least 5 years in operational leadership, ability to travel, and a track record of managing $100MM+ CMAR/Design-Build

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10–15 years in construction with 5+ years in operational leadership.
• Experience leading multiple teams or regional markets while driving safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple Area Managers and field managers to ensure high-quality execution of construction projects.
• Monitor safety, budget, schedule, contract compliance, and project execution standards.
• Develop regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market conditions.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial health of regional operations.
• Travel to project sites to manage progress and mentor teams as needed.
• Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating to guide pursuit strategies and client engagements.
