Job summary

New River Electrical Corporation in Phoenix seeks a Regional Manager to lead highly complex electrical construction projects across a regional territory. You will supervise project teams, drive business development, and ensure safety, schedule, and financial performance.

You will act as SME on the craft, develop and mentor staff, oversee bidding, take-offs, and subcontractor management, and report to the Regional VP or VP. Travel is required with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of construction project management in a highly complex environment.
• Alternate path: 8+ years field experience with 3+ years supervising, or
• 8+ years field experience with 5+ years supervising, plus 10+ years in construction management.
• 2+ years experience leading project teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, motivation, vision and direction.
• Proven success in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Extensive SME knowledge within a craft and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with new and existing customers expanding your regional book of business.
• Review RFP opportunities and manage the development of bidding strategy and pricing.
• Own the accuracy of take-offs and pricing from material and subcontractor sources to complete bids.
• Provide SME guidance to the Project Management team on craft-related decisions.
• Manage selection and training of superintendents, general foremen, and foremen.
• Oversee initiation plans, schedules, cash flow, materials, tools, and safety plans.
• Oversee jobsite safety audits and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Develop training programs for crews and supervision to establish best-in-class processes.
• Manage subcontractor relationships to align schedule, scope, and safety expectations.
