Job summary

Rogers Electric in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Traveling Projects Foreman to lead electrical field teams on commercial projects across the U.S. This role requires extensive travel (up to 90%), night shifts, weekends, and overtime, with emphasis on safety, planning, and quality control.

You will review drawings, coordinate with project managers, manage crew schedules, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining exceptional workmanship.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to define scope
• Communicates clearly with team and stakeholders
• Prepares and updates daily reports and documentation
• Plans tasks, deadlines, and resource needs
• Monitors safety, PPE compliance, and quality control
• Uses ProCore for field reporting and progress tracking

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing for assigned projects
• Analyzes bid documents and site conditions to outline scope and general conditions
• Identifies risks in scope to ensure costs are covered
• Establishes objectives, policies, and performance standards to complete scope per contracts
• Manages electricians, assigns daily tasks, and ensures materials/equipment are available
• Manages crew hours, procurement, scheduling equipment, and daily production reporting
• Leads safety meetings and enforces PPE usage
• Runs conduit/wire and installs/terminates devices
• Troubleshoots and performs quality control testing
• Conducts pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, and turnover
