Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Area Manager - Construction Projects to lead the Southwest region’s project sales team, drive strategy, and achieve growth through coaching and goal setting.

Responsibilities include managing a team of Lighting Specialist, Gear Specialist and Project Managers, engaging contractors, architects and owners, and coordinating pricing, digital tools, and value-add services to win large construction projects.

Qualifications

• Requires four-year college or university degree or 10–15 years related experience.
• Demonstrated strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Must be able to travel overnight and between branches.
• Oversee and develop staff to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct reports include Lighting Specialist, Gear Specialist and Project Managers.
• Meet or exceed the goals and objectives in the business plan/budget.
• Interact with contractors, architects, engineers and owners for project recommendations.
• Train and update the project team's knowledge and capabilities.
• Analyze quotations data to identify patterns of success/failure.
