Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Regional Compliance Specialist to support properties across the Western Massachusetts region. The role ensures policies from WinnResidential and housing agencies are communicated and implemented by site managers and senior staff, delivering training and conducting compliance reviews.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays) and a salary range of $85,000–$90,000, with final pay based on

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5-8 years of related work experience with affordable housing programs.
• Minimum 5-8 years of direct compliance department experience, including LIHTC and Project Based Section 8.
• Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehend and communicate complex verbal information in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular on site and remote audits, ensure timely response to agency audit findings.
• Manage and monitor lease up or program conversion efforts.
• Analyze regulatory documents to set up property management software.
• Collaborate to design, deliver trainings.
• Review and implement policies reflecting agency requirements.
• Monitor financial and programmatic indicators across portfolio.
• Provide direct support to internal and external customers via meetings and tickets.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
