Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Regional Operations Specialist – Community Manager in the DC Metro area to lead operational success across multiple sites, travel as needed, and uphold brand standards.

You will supervise on-site teams, manage leasing offices, and drive budgeted NOI while delivering excellent resident experiences. This role requires 4+ years in property management, 2+ years of supervision, Tax Credit expertise, and strong leadership, budgeting, and Yardi proficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the property management field.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Tax Credit experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily to properties; weekends may be required.
• Travel across regions; potential travel to Western zones and other locations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient with Yardi and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand champion and subject matter expert in KETTLER platform.
• Lead by example to maintain a positive climate and a high-performing, engaged, customer-focused team.
• Deliver a positive customer experience and quality living environment.
• Mentor team members throughout the portfolio.
• Manage administration of property operations and leasing office.
• Monitor financial operations and achievement of budgeted NOI.
• Hire, supervise, coach, and develop all on-site team members, including maintenance.
• Maintain company and brand standards across communities.
• Ensure rent is collected promptly and manage delinquency procedures.
• Contribute to leasing benchmarks, resident retention, and outreach initiatives.
• Understand current sub-market and mentor others.
• Utilize company guest suites/resources to minimize travel costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
