Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sourcing new business.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 7+ years in sales, inside sales, or business development.
• Experience building and hiring a sales team.
• Experience defining sales tech requirements for a CRM such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and execute community engagement plans for major development projects across the region.
• Design and execute signature events and programs.
• Set the vision for sustainable community engagement initiatives across the region and manage these with attention to detail and a high bar for quality.
• Own internal and external communications for community engagement programs and represent AWS publicly.
• Address community-centric issues and reputational risks for AWS and business objectives.
• Lead community assessments for new sites in the region and mitigate risks.
• Capture and report data showing impact on AWS Infrastructure, employees, and community.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results and be physically present in the community.
