Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Community Engagement Manager to lead InCommunities initiatives for the AWS Data Center Community in the America Central region.

Based out of Chicago or Columbus, OH, you will partner with stakeholders to understand community needs and deploy impactful programs. You will lead a regional team, design signature events, and ensure clear internal and external communication of program impact.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional or military experience.
• 10+ years in public policy or related fields.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and bespoke execution of Community Engagement for major development projects.
• Lead a regional team of community engagement managers.
• Design and execute signature events and programs with a vision for sustainable engagement.
• Communicate impact of programs internally and externally using multiple channels.
• Act as the region's issues leader to mitigate reputational risks.
• Support community assessment for new sites; identify risks and plan engagement.
• Capture data showing quantified/qualitative impact on AWS and communities.
