Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years of public policy, government relations, community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute external engagement strategies that advance Amazon’s community presence through partnerships and stakeholder relationships connected to targeted goals and deliverables.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, civic associations, local government officials, and opinion leaders across your assigned region.
• Plan and coordinate events that bring together community stakeholders, business leaders, and Amazon representatives to strengthen local partnerships.
• Collaborate across teams to influence decisions through community intelligence and stakeholder insights.
• Create engagement plans, regional assessments, and community impact summaries for leadership review.
• Travel throughout the assigned region to meet with community leaders, attend events, and maintain a visible presence across local stakeholder groups.
