Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply is seeking a Regional Commercial Sales Manager to lead the Carolinas roofing business. You will own revenue growth, margins, contractor relationships, and market share while leading a regional team of coordinators and estimators.

You will execute growth strategies, manage pricing governance, and deliver quarterly business reviews with strategic accounts. This remote role serves the Carolinas region and requires regular travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales or sales management in roofing, building products, or construction distribution.
• Proven ability to grow revenue and margin via contractor/manufacturer relationships.
• Experience managing pricing, quoting and profitability by customer and project.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply is hiring a Regional Commercial Sales Manager (RCSM) to lead its commercial roofing business in the Carolinas. You will own revenue growth, margin, contractor relationships and market share for the region, reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Roofing and leading a regional team of Commercial Coordinators and Tapered Estimators.

What You'll Do

• Execute the regional commercial growth strategy and develop product strategy aligned to it
• Build and manage sales pipelines
• Lead monthly regional business reviews
• Drive contractor segmentation and capture plans
• Support strategic project opportunities
• Own Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor relationships
• Review contractor scorecards quarterly and develop annual growth plans
• Conduct executive business reviews with strategic accounts

Pricing and profitability

• Enforce pricing governance and approve pricing exceptions within your authority limits
• Ensure margin compliance by contractor and project
• Review regional profitability metrics
• Partner with Commercial Coordinators on quote management

Market share growth

• Develop regional manufacturer growth plans and identify share opportunities by vendor
• Coordinate contractor and manufacturer engagement
• Track competitive activity and win/loss trends

What You Bring

Required

• 5+ years of sales or sales-management experience in commercial roofing, building products or construction distribution
• Proven record of growing revenue and margin through contractor and manufacturer relationships
• Experience managing pricing, quoting and profitability by customer and project
• Skill leading and developing a regional team, including coordinators who support quoting, purchasing and project tracking
• Strong pipeline management, forecasting and business-review discipline
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in business, construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with tapered roofing systems and technical sales support
• Experience with contractor segmentation or tiered customer programs
