Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Regional Collections Associate to manage a portfolio regionally. You will minimize Days Revenue Outstanding, reduce >30 days delinquency, and protect Ryder's financial interests through disciplined collections actions.

You will work with Operations Leadership, Rental Leadership, and the Sales Team to coordinate actions, resolve billing disputes, and participate in leadership calls and meetings.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred in business, accounting, financial or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, accounting, financial or related field.
• One year or more in commercial collections required.
• Two years or more in accounting/financial with the HS Diploma required.
• 0 to one year in accounting/financial with the Associate's/Bachelor's degree required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial collections process intermediate required.
• MS Office Suite intermediate required.

Responsabilidades

• Contacts customers to solicit payment and negotiate cessation of services.
• Analyze disputes and deductions to facilitate resolution of amounts due.
• Provide regular updates on receivables to Finance, Operations, Sales, and Rental leadership.
• Participate in projects or focus groups related to Collections, AR, Customer Service, and Billing.
• Develop documentation and user manuals as directed.
• Mitigate losses and improve receivables metrics while preserving customer relationships.
• Analyze financial/credit/operational data to plan collections strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
