Job summary

R1 RCM is seeking a Regional Coding Manager to support middle revenue cycle functions across client management, medical coding operations, quality compliance, and process improvement. You will oversee goals, strategic plans, and policies for regional hospital clients, requiring an active coding certification and healthcare revenue cycle experience.

You will monitor performance to meet KPIs, lead responses to coding workflow issues, and collaborate with the quality team to improve coding quality

Qualifications

• Must have active coding certification (AHIMA or AAPC).
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Strong Excel reporting and data analysis skills.
• Proven leadership in healthcare teams with coaching and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Monitor team performance to meet KPIs and provide guidance.
