Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Regional Refrigeration Specialist to act as the technical expert for commercial CO2 refrigeration across North America. The role drives standardization, reliability improvements, and technical excellence in multiple facilities, ensuring food safety and high performance.

You will lead audits, develop procedures, and collaborate with site leadership and vendors while traveling up to 80% to support region-wide operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience
• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
• 5+ years of refrigeration industry experience
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically up to 80%, providing regional technical support for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems
• Lead and execute refrigeration system audits, maintenance quality assessments, and reliability improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures and troubleshooting protocols
• Partner with site leadership, maintenance teams, central engineering groups, and vendors to identify opportunities for equipment standardization and cost optimization
• Provide escalation support and mentorship to local maintenance teams on refrigeration operations and preventive maintenance
