Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Regional Refrigeration Specialist to serve as the technical expert and regional leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across the expanding North American market. You will drive standardization, reliability improvements, and technical excellence across multiple facilities while ensuring optimal performance and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• 5+ years of refrigeration industry experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically up to 80% for regional technical support of commercial CO2 refrigeration systems.
• Lead and execute refrigeration system audits, maintenance quality assessments, and reliability improvements.
• Develop and implement standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures and troubleshooting protocols.
• Partner with site leadership, maintenance teams, central engineering groups, and vendor management to standardize equipment and optimize costs.
• Provide escalation support and mentorship on refrigeration operations and preventive maintenance.
