Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Regional Refrigeration Specialist to act as the technical expert and regional leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems across the North American market. This role will drive standardization, reliability improvements, and best practices while ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

You will travel up to 80% across multiple facilities, partnering with site leadership and engineering groups to optimize equipment, reduce costs, and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• 5+ years of refrigeration industry experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide regional technical support and ensure food safety standards.
• Lead and execute refrigeration system audits, maintenance quality assessments, and reliability initiatives.
• Develop and implement standardized refrigeration maintenance procedures and troubleshooting protocols.
• Partner with site leadership, maintenance teams, central engineering groups, and vendor management to identify standardization opportunities and cost optimization.
• Provide escalation support and mentorship to local maintenance teams on refrigeration system operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
