Job summary

Herzing University is seeking a Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator (CPCC) to support the execution of clinical placement and compliance activities within the Florida region. You will coordinate student placements, maintain documentation, and serve as a liaison among students, faculty, clinical partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely placement and regulatory compliance.

The role reports to the Director of Clinical Placement & Compliance and requires a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years' experience required working in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education setting.
• Prior experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, higher education operations, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical education environments, regulatory requirements, or accreditation standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical placements in accordance with established timelines to ensure preparedness for clinical coursework.
• Maintain accurate placement records to ensure clinical experiences fulfill required hours, within timelines and in accordance with university operating procedures.
• Evaluate clinical placement capacity and determine appropriate student assignments based on program and site requirements.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to students regarding clinical requirements, timelines, and progression, exercising judgment to support successful outcomes.
• Prioritize competing placement issues based on program needs, risk, and stakeholder impact.
• Follow protocols established by affiliated clinical sites when requesting student placement and assigning students to clinical experiences.
• Assess clinical placement challenges and determine appropriate solutions, escalating only complex or high-risk issues to leadership.
