Job summary

MedCap Health is seeking a Regional Clinical Director to lead clinical strategy for post-acute care across multiple states. This fully remote, full-time role reports to executive leadership and focuses on designing and expanding consult services, mentoring clinicians, and ensuring compliance with CMS and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• 10+ years of NP experience in PALTC, SNF, or LTACH settings.
• 5+ years in leadership, education, or program development.
• Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or infectious disease.
• Proven success building and leading NPP teams.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and value-based care.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms.

This is a full-time position with approximately 20% travel, supporting multi-state clinical operations while maintaining flexibility and balance.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

In this Regional Clinical Director role, you guide the design, launch, and expansion of consult services while collaborating daily with physician specialists, executive leaders, NPs, PAs, and facility teams; you define clinical protocols, oversee quality metrics, mentor providers, manage multi-site operations, monitor dashboards, ensure CMS and state compliance, lead RCAs when needed, and act as the clinical connector aligning strategy, quality, workforce development, and operational execution-all while advancing MedCap's mission across states and specialties.

Hard Requirements:
