Job summary

MedCap Health is hiring Medical Directors/Attending Physicians to lead a team of specialists and nursing staff in long-term care facilities. This contracted, full-/part-time or flexible role offers malpractice coverage, credential support, and telemedicine coverage for overnight and weekend hours.

You will oversee a skilled nursing facility, guiding clinicians in delivering high-quality care and handling complex cases with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, critical care, family practice, or geriatrics.
• Leadership experience would be preferred.
• Hospitalist background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of specialists and nurse practitioners in delivering hospital-level care in a skilled nursing facility.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and complex case management.
• Provide autonomous medical decision-making with a focus on quality care and patient outcomes.

YOUR SCHEDULE

Our Medical Directors/Attending Physicians work during the day, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed. We can work together to build a consistent schedule that fits your needs and availability.

Our Medical Directors/Attending Physicians lead a talented team of specialists and nurse practitioners in delivering exceptional, hospital-level care. You'll work in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing your team in providing quality medical care and assisting with more complex cases. With flexible hours, you'll be able to help patients and make a tangible impact on your own terms!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
