Job summary

Qualifications

• MSN required with active NP license.

• 2+ years of leadership, education, or program development.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and documentation standards.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms.

This is a full-time position with approximately 50% travel, supporting multi-state clinical operations while maintaining flexibility and balance.

In this Director of Subspecialty services role, you guide the design, launch, and expansion of consult services while collaborating daily with physician specialists, executive leaders, NPs, PAs, and facility teams; you define clinical protocols, oversee quality metrics, mentor providers, manage multi-site operations, monitor dashboards, lead RCAs when needed, and act as the clinical connector aligning strategy, quality, workforce development, and operational execution-all while advancing MedCap's mission across states and specialties.

Hard Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (multi-state preferred)
• 10+ years of PA experience in PALTC, SNF, or LTACH settings
• 2+ years of experience in leadership, education, or program development (5+ years preferred)
• Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or infectious disease
• Proven success building and leading NPP teams
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, documentation standards
• Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is strongly preferred
• Located in the Delaware, Virginia, or Maryland area
