Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-minded team in Toledo, OH. The role runs from Toledo to various Midwest locations, averaging 2,800–3,000 miles per week with weekly home time.

Drivers earn between $80k and $110k annually, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. The position combines hourly on-duty pay with mileage pay and offers benefits, 401(k) matching, and stock purchase options.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Class A CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Ensures loads are properly secured and weights adhered to.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, and dispatch records.
• Placards vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Ensures loading/unloading of hazardous waste is done safely.

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Toledo, OH. This route runs from Toledo, OH to various locations in the Midwest and averages 2800-3000 miles per week. This is a Monday- Friday position.

About The Role

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year


• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available


• Weekly home time


• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times


• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles


• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units


• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads


• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations


• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL


• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
