Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety-conscious team in Cohoes, NY or Bristol, CT. This route runs from Cohoes or Bristol covering loads out of the northeast down to Baltimore and back, with mileage pay and weekly home time.

Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailer units, maintaining logs, and ensuring safe loading/unloading of cargo, with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Ensures loads are properly loaded, secured and unloaded.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, and trip reports.
• Plates vehicle per DOT requirements and adheres to safety policies.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of units.
• Keeps accurate dispatch and expense records.

Clean Harbors is looking for a RegionalClass A Dry Van Driver to join their safety conscious team in Cohoes, NY or Bristol, CT! This route runs from Cohoes, NY or Bristol CT covering loads out of the northeast down to Baltimore and back. Mileage pay 2200-2500 miles per week. Regional Mon-Fri.

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• Weeklyhome time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software

Job Schedule Full time

Pay Range 15.63 - 41.54 Hourly
