South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks a Regional Case Manager for Child Support Services to prepare court cases, coordinate with Clerks of Court and intergovernmental agencies, and manage caseloads while protecting sensitive information.

The role emphasizes timely customer service, compliance with agency policies, and collaboration across state lines to enforce support obligations and schedule genetic testing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and four years of clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration or general business experience, including two years with Child Support Services.
• Associate degree or higher preferred with two years of Child Support Services experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher may substitute for required work experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cases for court by verifying pleadings, affidavits and notarizing court documents; schedule hearings and file papers with the Clerk of Court; utilize PACSS.
• Assist attorney in court; negotiate support amounts and complete form orders.
• Maintain control of assigned caseload; follow agency policies and procedures; handle correspondence and document activities.
• Provide internal and external customer service (emails, OnBase mail, phone) within 48 hours when possible.
• Coordinate with Clerks of Court, intergovernmental child support agencies, and other units; coordinate enforcement of support obligations; manage genetic testing scheduling.
