Job summary

Clemson University in Columbia, SC is seeking a Time-Limited Staff member to prepare child support cases for Family court and assist DSS attorneys in court proceedings. You will handle follow-up on cases, locate non-custodial parents, and process interstate cases while delivering general child support services.

Responsibilities include maintaining case records, coordinating with other units, and ensuring proper handling of PII.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and relevant program experience are required.
• A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

Responsibilities

• Communications & correspondence with other units; update IVD system with support order data and financial information.
• Maintain case records and narratives; manage caseload and identify problems in the child support system.
• Refer non-custodial parents to SNAP Employment and Training; interpret child support services for clients and the community.
• Conduct interviews with custodial parents for paternity and interstate cases; protect PII and agency networks.
