Job summary

Humana seeks a Regional VP, Operations & Finance to own the regional P&L and connect financial outcomes with operational performance. This senior leader will guide budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and performance reporting for the South Central region (TX, OK, AR), collaborating with regional teams to drive value-based care initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of Medicare/Medicare Advantage, 8+ years finance leadership in health solutions, and ability to lead a high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of finance experience in the health solutions industry; CFO/COO with finance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS bid mechanics and bid tools.
• Willingness to travel 20% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional market level strategy development with operational leaders.
• Direct accountability for regional P&L and achieving margin & budget targets.
• Direct the design and implementation of policies and procedures aligning with regulators.
• Establish and maintain management controls by tracking and analyzing data to drive improvements.
• Oversee the CMS bid process annually and liaise with enterprise teams.
• Manage regional budget oversight and provide strategic financial analysis.
• Foster internal and external relationships for knowledge sharing and performance improvement.
