Job summary

Humana seeks a Regional Vice President, Operations & Finance for the South Central region (TX, OK and AR). This executive owns the regional P&L and steers strategic financial and operational performance across product, network and performance teams.

You will oversee the annual budget, forecasting, CMS bid processes and risk management while leading a small finance/ops team. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Lead regional market strategy with operational leaders.
• Direct accountability for regional P&L and budget targets.
• Design and implement policies integrated with other units and compliant with federal/state requirements.
• Establish controls by identifying, tracking, measuring and analyzing data.
• Lead the CMS bid process and provide budgetary analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional CMS bid process and product strategy.
• Provide fiscal oversight of the regional annual budget and projections.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to align product, network, quality and operations.
• Manage relationships with physician and hospital partners.
• Develop and monitor regional performance metrics and risk controls.
• Travel up to 20% within the region.
