Job summary

Humana is seeking a Regional VP, Operations & Finance for the South Central region (TX, OK, AR). This executive leads the regional P&L, oversees budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and partners with operations to improve clinical and financial performance.

The role requires deep knowledge of Medicare programs, value-based care, and strategic leadership across finance, network and operations. You will chair the regional leadership team, drive CMS bid processes, manage a team of finance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Part D and CMS bid process.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of finance experience in health solutions, with 3+ years in CFO/COO finance role.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to build a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% within the region.
• Must reside in or relocate to TX, AR or OK (prefer TX).

Responsibilities

• Lead regional market strategy development with operational leaders.
• Direct accountability for regional P&L and margin targets.
• Design and implement policies integrated with other units and compliant with regulations.
• Establish management and performance controls by data analysis to drive improvements.
• Lead the annual CMS bid process.
• Maintain regional budget oversight and provide strategic/financial analysis for contracts and performance.
• Cultivate internal and external relationships for knowledge and performance improvement.
