Job summary

slihrms is seeking a CEI Area Manager - Central Florida to lead the Orlando, FL operations for a large CEI unit. You will oversee staff, project delivery, client relations, and growth across roads, bridges, and related infrastructure, with accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.

The role requires strategic leadership, staff development, and the ability to collaborate with sales and business units to win work and deliver complex CEI projects in the Central Florida region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in field of practice. Post graduate degree preferred.
• Management coursework and/or MBA a plus.
• This level may be achieved by technical professionals or technical managers with 15 years of experience since B.S., with at least three of these years in positions with project management.

Responsibilities

• Staff Administration: lead CEI staff, recruit and staff as needed, conduct performance reviews and career planning, provide coaching and development, enforce policies.
• Project Delivery and Management: oversee CEI project execution, monitor quality and conformance, manage finances, supervise field staff and QA activities.
• Marketing and Client Maintenance: pursue new project opportunities, manage client relations, assist in proposal development and budgeting, collaborate with sales and business units.
• Contracts and Financial: negotiate contracts with clients and subconsultants, monitor budgets and accounts receivable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
