Ideal candidates hold a Florida PE license or can obtain it within six months, with at least six years of engineering experience, including road or bridge work, and strong technical writing skills. The position emphasizes professionalism, collaboration, and leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and Florida PE license (or eligibility)
• Six years of engineering experience, with two in major road or bridge construction
• Strong technical writing skills
• FDOT Advanced MOT certification
• CTQP QC Manager Course completion and exam
• Critical Structures Construction Issues self-study

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day CEI project operations per contract, plans, specs, regulations and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance, interpret plans, resolve field issues, document decisions
• Review submittals, RFIs, CPM schedules, and claim packages with supported recommendations
• Ensure CEI documentation, materials records, and correspondence meet standards
• Lead CEI project staff and ensure high-quality documentation and communication
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, track labor, and support financial performance and forecasting
• Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders for successful delivery
• Mentor junior team members and guide technical, administrative, and leadership growth
• Support business development by identifying future work and pursuing opportunities
