Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a responsible driver to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated facilities. You will inspect vehicles, ensure packaging and paperwork meet DOT specs, and maintain compliant permits while adhering to DOT, EPA, and company policies.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, GED or high school diploma, and prior commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DOT regulations for hazardous/non-hazardous materials.
• Strong team player and communication skills.
• Time management to handle multiple tasks safely.
• Customer service orientation and safety awareness.
• GED or HS diploma required; CDL and Hazmat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of vehicle/trailer before driving.
• Review shipment records, manifests, and paperwork for accuracy.
• Ensure DOT requirements and permits are up to date.
• Consult with customers on load conditions and paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of violations/accidents en route.
• Assist with loading/unloading and housekeeping as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
