Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a hazardous materials transporter to safely move hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated facilities, ensuring DOT/EPA compliance. You will inspect packaging, review manifests, and maintain accurate paperwork to support compliant transportation.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, verifying documentation, assisting with loading, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Valid Class A CDL and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of vehicle and trailer prior to driving.
• Review shipment records, manifests and paperwork for accuracy.
• Ensure DOT requirements and permits are up to date.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials at sites as needed.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and compliance with policies.
