Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a safety-conscious hazmat transport driver to move hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites and designated facilities. You will follow DOT rules, inspect cargo, and coordinate with customers to ensure compliant shipments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior commercial driving experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for transporting hazardous materials.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections before driving.
• Review shipment records, manifests, and labeling for accuracy.
• Ensure DOT requirements, permits, and paperwork are up to date.
• Coordinate with customers on load conditions and documentation.
• Assist with loading/unloading and maintain housekeeping.
• Report any incidents or violations to supervision.
