Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and trailer prior to trips to ensure safety and integrity of equipment.
• Review shipment records, manifests, labeling, placards, and container integrity before transport.
• Ensure DOT paperwork, permits, and insurance are up to date and valid.
• Coordinate with customers on load conditions and paperwork accuracy.
• Report incidents or violations to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with loading/unloading at designated sites as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform other duties as assigned.
