Job summary

Ryder is looking for drivers for regional routes delivering heavy-touch freight such as pet food across CA, UT, NV, NM and WA. Start times are 4:00–6:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with 40+ hours weekly.

Equipment includes day cab tractors with 24' and 28' trailers; overnight trips include hotel stays and per diem. Ryder offers paid training, weekly pay, uniforms and boot allowances, 401(k) with company match after one year, 80 hours PTO in year one, and maternity leave options.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Pay, Home Time & More:

• Earn $1,300+ per week
• Hourly pay: $30.00 per hour
• Hours per Wwek: 40 + hours per week
• Per diem pay: $40.00 per night with 2 - 5 nights out per week
• Loyalty bonus: $2,500 paid after 6 months and $2,500 paid after 1 year
• Overnights for route in Ryder booked hotel
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting day 1

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Start time: 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM dispatch window
• Deliver soloto: CA, UT, NV sometimes NM and WA
• Tractor type: day cab
• Trailer type: straight truck 24', pups 28'
• Equipment: carts, hand trucks & lift gate
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: heavy touch - pet food
• Cannot accommodate auto restriction
