Ryder is seeking CDL-A drivers for a local home daily route in Southern California. Expect early start times, Monday–Friday shifts, and about 50 hours per week delivering solo to local stops.

Medical, dental and vision coverage after 30 days, uniforms and boot allowance, 401(k) with company match, paid training, and generous referral bonuses. Requirements: valid CDL-A, 9 months of driving in the past 3 years, minimum 21 years old, and passing Ryder’s drug test, background check, and DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• 9 months of driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Responsabilités

• Deliver solo to local stops in Southern California on a local home daily route.
• Operate a Day cab tractor with a 48' flatbed trailer as needed.
• Adhere to freight handling requirements: load securement, strapping, chaining, and tarping.

Pay, Home Time & More:

• Average $1,534+ per week
• Hours per week: 50 hours
• Stops pay: $17.00 per stop, 7 - 10 stops per day
• Route: Local home daily
• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
• Accrue up to 80 hours PTO your first year, starting day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Deliver solo to: Southern CA
• Tractor type: Day cab
• Trailertype:Flatbed 48'
• Freight: Load securement only - strapping, chaining, and tarping
