Job summary

Ryder is seeking a CDL-A driver for regional routes across TX, LA, KS and AR. You will operate sleeper tractors with dry van trailers and be responsible for on-time deliveries, safety, and compliance with company policies.

The role includes weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, PTO, and training. Must pass Ryder drug tests and DOT physicals; regional travel is required with home time possibilities and Ryder-led support.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• 9 months of driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solo to TX, LA, KS & AR.
• Operate Sleeper tractor with Dry Van (53').
• Follow schedule and safety protocols, and maintain vehicle readiness.

Average $1,363 per Week

$3,500 Sign-On Bonus - Comprehensive Benefits

Pay, Home Time & More:

• Average $1,363 per week
• $1220 weekly guarantee
• Solo miles pay:66 CPM with 1,100 - 1,600miles per week
• Solo stops pay:$28.00 per stop with 9 stops per week
• Per diem pay: $55.00 per night with 4 nights per week
• Route: Regional
• Overnights for route in Ryder-booked hotel
• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday; possible Saturdays
• Start time: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM Dispatch
• Deliver solo to:TX, LA, KS & AR
• Tractor type: Sleeper
• Trailertype:Dry Van, 53'
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch - Assembled motorcycles
