Welford Healthcare is seeking an experienced, committed care professional to join our team as a Regional Support Manager. This role works alongside Home Managers to provide hands-on, practical support and ensure our homes operate smoothly, compliantly and warmly for residents, relatives and staff.

The position is highly autonomous with real influence over how we run our business and offers strong opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Senior care home management experience (e.g. Home Manager, Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead).
• Experience working within large care home environments.
• Experience managing safeguarding investigations and attending multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Experience conducting HR investigations and hearings.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored, on-site operational and clinical support to Home Managers.
• Develop, implement and monitor action plans following compliance inspections and audits.
• Monitor progress against actions on a monthly basis.
• Support safeguarding investigations and attend related meetings.
• Maintain high occupancy levels and support positive resident experiences.
• Assist payroll management, cost control and workforce planning to minimise agency usage.
• Review compliance reports and QA evidence, translating findings into actions.
• Conduct audits on care planning, medication, infection control, and clinical monitoring.
