Job summary

Caregiver is seeking a Senior Area Director to lead a field-based team across multiple programs, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. The role requires regular travel within assigned markets to provide on-site leadership and oversight, drive census growth, and mentor Area Directors to promote consistency and collaboration.

The Senior Area Director reports to the Regional Vice President and focuses on leadership responsibilities while maintaining a reduced caseload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or healthcare required.
• 3-5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with person-centered planning and IPP/ PDP processes preferred.
• Experience supporting regulatory surveys, audits, or inspections.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and coaching of Day Program Managers.
• Ensure programs comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping with credentialing oversight.
• Oversee environmental safety, IPP/PDP management, and care coordination.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings and incident follow-up as needed.
• Support census growth and client onboarding, fostering collaboration across departments.
