Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Baltimore to lead a new Cardiovascular Sales Representatives team, translate national strategy into region-specific business plans, and drive performance using analytics, market research and local trends.

You will recruit, coach and develop CSR’s, manage territory and cross-functional partners, and ensure compliant customer engagement while accelerating growth and launching new products in a high-visibility role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or related field.
• 8+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years first-line sales leadership experience.
• Cardiovascular/Cardiometabolic experience preferred.
• Previous team and new product launch experience in a specialty disease area.
• Experience with market access/reimbursement preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate clearly.
• Proven track record of leading successful sales teams.
• Proficiency with CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and travel up to 60% required.

Responsibilities

• Translate national and area sales strategies into localized region-level business plans.
• Analyze market data, sales trends, and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and adjust tactics.
• Lead a team of Cardiovascular Sales Representatives to educate targeted physicians and accounts.
• Direct CSRs in acquisition, expansion and retention of targeted business.
• Engage and cultivate key accounts with strategies supporting growth objectives.
• Field coaching and mentorship to elevate sales capabilities and compliance.
• Attract, coach and retain individuals to ensure high performance in selling and account management.
• Oversee and optimize territory management, budgeting and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, marketing, training, compliance and medical affairs.
• Comply with legal and regulatory policies; perform additional duties as required.
