Job summary

DPR Construction in Dallas, Texas aims to establish and administer the Builder Development Program (BDP) regionally. The Lead Builder Development Specialist will train project teams, coaches, and business units to ensure equitable development opportunities and act as the main program contact.

Responsibilities include curriculum coordination, facilitator engagement, progress tracking, and regular reporting to Initiative Leads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a large commercial construction environment or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing construction projects at DPR.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Trainer or Facilitator; experience creating training content preferred.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Experience with staffing projects and monitoring the performance of the assigned resources.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and implements the Builder Development Program (BDP) in the region and serves as the main point of contact.
  • Provides training and support to project teams, coaches, and Business Units to ensure equitable development opportunities.
  • Coordinate curriculum, sessions, and facilitators, including on-site and off-site activities.
  • Monitor curriculum achievement and report progress to Initiative Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Manage calendars, rotations, events, and participant engagement to foster learning.
  • Ensure program alignment with DPR policies and best practices and facilitate continuous improvements.
