Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a Lead Builder Development Specialist to establish and drive the Builder Development Program (BDP) regionally. You will serve as the main program contact for regions, provide training to project teams, coaches, and business units, and ensure consistent, equitable development opportunities.

You will coordinate facilitators, manage curricula, monitor progress, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to align program goals with DPR policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a large commercial construction environment or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing construction projects at DPR.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Trainer or Facilitator; experience creating training content preferred.
• Coaching and mentoring experience
• Experience with staffing projects and monitoring performance of resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuation of the BDP program in the region.
• Act as a member of the BDP Team to maintain program consistency.
• Communicate program format, content, and administration requirements to a broad audience.
• Report progress and collaborate with Initiative Lead and other Specialists.
• Monitor curriculum achievement using centralized tracking tools and assessments.
• Manage calendar of activities including rotations, events, and meetings.
• Identify and coordinate facilitators, speakers, off-site visits, and jobsite visits.
• Facilitate group sessions and engage participants in a cohort setting.
• Capture feedback and drive program improvements.
• Create content for the BDP with guidance from the BDP team.
• Consult with participants, coaches, and project teams to clarify needs.
• Lead troubleshooting for course, coach, and participant issues.
