Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Lead Builder Development Specialist to establish and drive the Builder Development Program (BDP) regionally. You’ll serve as the primary program contact, delivering training, coordinating facilitators, and ensuring equitable development opportunities across project teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and collaboration with Business Units, Regions, and Talent Acquisition to schedule rotations, support coaches, and improve program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a large commercial construction environment or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing construction projects at DPR.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Trainer or Facilitator; content creation preferred.
• Coaching and mentoring experience.
• Experience with staffing projects and monitoring performance of resources.
• Capable of managing teams of varied sizes and complexities.
• Experience with DPR project management functions and software (project controls, reporting, forecasting).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuation of the Builder Development Program (BDP) in the region.
• Act as the main point of contact for the program; support project teams, coaches, and business units.
• Communicate program format, content, and administration requirements to a wide audience.
• Coordinate facilitators, speakers, off-site visits, and jobsite visits to enhance learning objectives.
• Monitor curriculum achievement and assessments with coaches; track progress.
• Travel to jobsites and regional offices; support rotations and staffing needs.
• Develop content for the BDP and train project teams and coaches.
• Ensure program adherence to company policies and best practices.
